johnboy:

The wood shed just happens to have a garage attached to it (or… is it vice versa…).

I’m almost finished the vinyl cladding, and of course, pictures will soon follow. It’s 26x24, 9-1/2' high, with 2 9x7 doors. The side towards the wooded area has 9 feet of horizontal steel siding installed a month or so ago (a deal I got). The vinyl will cover the rest.

I started the job myself, and, with my proficiency with tools, things took off a tad off plumb… My better half took pity on me, and, I guess, the horror of having every passerby seeing it, had me take it off, and start over with her help. She took measures, and MADE us run a level line all around 2 sides at a time, at every row. We are half way done, and things are looking pretty good.

I need to mention that this site has had a very good influence on my work habits (or lack thereof). After seeing T3, for example, where a few of his projects weren’t going as planned, well, he simply took a breath, indulged in a snicker or two, shared the mishap, and tried again.

I snickered a bit (OK… it was a tad forced) never threw a tool in the beaver dam (a habit of mine when i think it's NOT doing what it's supposed to do), I did cuss a few times, but, doing it over was indeed worth the effort. The best part, so far, is I only slammed my BFH once on my thumb… (missed the nail by that much…)

got myself 2 white masonite pegboards. first one is installed. Going to hang what's on the wall next to it, so i can install the second sheet.

Lucky here, it will fit perfectly in behind the 16' workbench.

I'll look at work for assorted doodads to hook in those boards. I should find all kinds of goodies.
