So, Mark's(Local Hero) Pinewood Derby thread over on CCC got me thinking, we need a "quality time/Father-son/Father-daughter" type thread! Considered posting it over there, then realized, DOH, put it on The Garage, you dope! So, here it is!

I'll have to get photos loaded later, but some of the things the boys and I enjoy doing are:

Estes rockets!

R/C(I used to fly quite regularly, but haven't in FOREVER)
One of my "old" planes, built in 1992!

This project will start after we finish the rockets. I purchased a trainer to build with at least the oldest boy, if not with both. Carl Goldberg Freedom .20. Same trainer I used "back in the day", 21 years ago, still being produced! My original one has long since been turned BACK into a bundle of sticks! .

What do you do with your chitlins??

Pics later!

Here's a shot of most of the rest of the "arsenal".....4-5 more up in the attic needing various repairs to be flyable again:

There's a Sidewinder missile, a Sparrow missile, Mercury Redstone, shuttle, SR71, etc, etc. The shuttle is fun, as the orbiter seperates and glides back down, while the rest 'chutes. The red one with the streamer has a "G" meter in the nose! COOOL!

Ahhhh hell! You guys are making me feel bad! I've been threatening to get into RC with Evan, but have not done it.... yet.
We DO go out shooting a couple times a month. Evan has a Remington semi-auto .22 rifle. Brenna has my Ruger 10-22 semi-auto rifle. Theyre both quite good! Evan also has a small "compound bow" and we go shoot our bows on occaision.
